Alexandra Headland beach (1545B) and its surf lifesaving club are located 2 km to the south, 300 m north of the headland. The club house and adjoining foreshore reserve are wedged between the main road and the beach. The club was founded in 1924, indicating the long popularity of this beach. At times coffee rock is exposed just north of the surf club, dividing the high tide beach in two.
