Beach K 244 is located at the northeastern tip of the point and faces due west down the sound. It is a straight 200 m long high tide sand beach, backed by a small foredune, rock debris and the scarped base of steep 70 m high slopes. It is fronted by 50 m wide sand flats, then 200 m wide reef flats.
