The northern end of the beach terminates at a low bedrock platform and reef, backed by 10 m high dunes. On the north side of the rocks are two small rock bound beaches. Beach 422 is a 200 m long sand beach bordered by the rocks and fronted by deeper reefs, with surf breaking over the western reefs.
