Beaches 198 is a 170 m curving boulder beach locked between two small protruding headlands, while beach 199 is an irregular 600 m long boulder beach interrupted by rocks and rock reefs and backed by steep cliffs and bluffs. Finally 500 m south of Rapid Head is a 150 m pocket of sand (beach 200), backed by steep 100 m high bluffs and bordered by rocks and interrupted by rocks and rock reefs (Fig. 4.43).
