Beach Q 32 commences 2 km to the north and is a 2 km long west-northwest-facing strip of high tide sand fronted by 500 m wide ridged sand flats, containing a few scattered mangroves. It terminates in the north at the mouth of a tidal creek, which has tidal sand shoals extending up to 2 km offshore. As a consequence waves are low at the beach and mangroves fringe the northern end. Five kilometre wide salt flats back both beaches.
