Lobster Beach (NSW 296) lies 1 km to the north at the eastern entrance to Brisbane Water. Its location deep inside the entrance to Broken Bay, together with its west aspect result in a very low energy beach with vegetated slopes descending to the rear of the narrow beach. It owes its origin more to the ebb tide delta of Brisbane Water than to waves, as it is essentially part of the eastern side of the Brisbane Water tidal channel. The 320 m long beach can only be reached on foot by the track over the 50 m high ridge from Wagstaff, or more commonly by boat.
Beach Length: 0.32km
General Hazard Rating: 3/10
