One Tree Beach (NSW 582) continues south of the rocks for 250 m to 15 m high Tuross Head (also called One Tree Point) and its solitary Norfolk Island pine tree, the point forming the northern entrance to Tuross Lake. The beach is well exposed with usually boundary rips to either end. Both beaches are backed by foredunes which ramp up against the backing vegetated granite slopes, with Tuross Boulevard behind, then the small township.
