This is a sandy beach that curves for 300 m between the boundary rocks, with a 150 m central section free of rocks and reefs. The beach is borderded by densely vegetated bluffs, with a low foredune in the northern corner backed by a small creek. Waves average over 1 m and maintain an 80 m wide bar drained by a strong western rip and secondary eastern rip, both flowing out against and over the rocks.
